129 Non-Commissioned Officers promotions have been signed – Promotions for Contracting NCOs to be signed in 2021

The promotions of the Cyprus Army Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) for 2020 were signed today. 

Specifically, 129 promotions were signed concerning permanent Non-Commissioned Officers of all ranks. More specifically:

• 11 Sergeants are promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant
• 70 Staff Sergeants are promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major 
• 44 Sergeant Majors are promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer Class C
• 3 Warrant Officers Class III are promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer Class B
• 1 Warrant Officer Class II is promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer Class A 

The promotions of Senior Officers have also been signed. In particular, these concern the promotions of two Lieutenant Generals and Eight Brigadiers.

It is expected that the promotions for the other ranks of Officers and contracting NCOs will be signed in 2021.
