There are many young men who leave Ukraine to avoid conscription and save their lives, a fact that traffickers take advantage of and make huge sums of money.
If they fail to escape, they are arrested and beaten as they try to escape in order to avoid conscription.
These men were caught near the border with Romania trying to flee Ukraine.
They are not the only ones who do not want to fight and are trying to avoid conscription
