The THEON SENSORS of EFA GROUP has secured another success for the Greek Defence industry. Following strict procedures by the British Ministry of Defence, THEON SENSORS has been awarded with a contract for the supply of 500 THERMIS CS thermal imaging systems by 2022 for the needs of British soldiers under the Sniper In-Line Low Light System (SILLS) – Long Wave InfraRed (LWIR) Thermal Sight “Weapon Sight 2”. THEON SENSORS will cooperate for the needs of the program with the British company Active Electronics.

According to the announcement of THEON SENSORS, the company’s thermal and night surveillance products are used by several NATO armies as they can be mounted both on soldiers’ personal equipment, but also on vehicles and drones. It thus provides a significant upgrade to the forces operating in a highly demanding environment.
