On Thursday, September 9, 2021, night landing exercises of helicopters of the Search-Rescue System of the Republic of Cyprus were carried out at the Heliport of the American Medical Center.
The said exercise was carried out by helicopters of the 460th Search and Rescue Squadron of the National Guard and the Cyprus Police Aviation Unit (MAEP) in the context of State Services’ readiness in night emergencies within the area of responsibility of the Republic of Cyprus.
During the exercise, nurses of the specialized Ambulance Service MEDEVAC Teams of the State Health Services Organisation (OKYPY) also boarded the helicopters.
