The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested more than 100 people in connection with the riot that took place at the Capitol last week. The FBI is now investigating individuals who could threaten the security of Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration on January 20, his director said on Thursday.
“We are looking for individuals who may have an eye towards repeating the same kind of violence we saw last week,” said Christopher Wray, the FBI’s special envoy to outgoing US Vice President Mike Pence, on the security of the presidential inauguration.
“As of January 6, we have identified more than 200 suspects. We know who you are, if you are out there, an FBI agent is coming to find you,” he added.
