Chechen fighters fighting with the Russian forces take part in the battles for the occupation of Mariupol. In a VIDEO posted online today by the channel of Chechen leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, Chechen fighters in Mariupol say that the city will soon be cleared of the enemies and shout “Almighty Allah”. The VIDEO also depicts Adam Delimkanov, a Chechen politician who participates in the Russian Duma, while Kadyrov himself announced that he is in Ukraine.
Since the outbreak of the war, the Chechens have sent troops to fight with the army of the Russian Federation. Although relations between the Chechens and the Russians have been strained in the past with two recent bloody wars, Kadyrov’s leadership has harmonized relations with Vladimir Putin’s regime. In the photo below, Kadyrov greets Chechen fighters to be sent to fight in Ukraine.
The developments in the area of Mariupol are of particular interest to the Greek side as there is a large number of Greeks abroad. The Mariupol municipal authority said earlier today that 2,357 civilians had been killed since the start of the Russian offensive. The basic infrastructure of the city has been cut off by the Russian troops and the conditions are extremely difficult for the inhabitants, while there are raids and attacks to occupy the city, which will probably be occupied. On the other hand, the Russian side accuses the Azov battalions of preventing the inhabitants from fleeing.
