Instructions for criminal prosecutions of Police officers in the Metaxas case
Prosecutor General Costas Clerides gave instructions for the prosecution of 20 members of the Police, in relation to the investigation of the disappearance conditions of the foreign women who were found murdered by Nikos Metaxas.
Asked to comment on a report broadcast by Alpha TV tonight, Mr. Clerides confirmed, in statements to CNA, that today he sent the case file to the Independent Authority for Investigating Claims and Complaints “lawsuits against the Police” with instructions for some.
It should be noted that as of today, May 5, 2019, after a week of research in the Red Lake in Mitsero, a second “coffin” suitcase was found with the body of 8-year-old Elena-Natalia, daughter of Libia Buena, one of the victims of the serial killer, Nikos Metaxas.
