Important information for new conscripts | The process of clothing supply will begin

The Ministry of Defence announces that as of the following Monday, May 25, the process of clothing supply for the 2020 class of conscripts will begin.
The conscripts are invited to come with their IDs to the equipment distribution centers on the day corresponding to the first letter of their last name, as shown in detail in the table here (only in Greek language). The equipment will be provided from 08:00 until 19:00.
To avoid unnecessary movements and for greater ease for the conscripts, all clothing and footwear will be provided in five distribution centers in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta. Therefore, conscripts will receive the necessary equipment for their classification from the nearest area of their province of residence.
Conscripts are required to adhere faithfully to the days and hours of equipment delivery so as to avoid inconvenience, as well as for hygiene reasons. All precautionary measures provided by the health protocols shall be observed at the material delivery sites.
It is noted that not all health-deferred conscripts will be provided with materials at this stage.
For any information, conscripts or their parents/guardians may call 1430 (Army helpline).
Meanwhile, the process of submitting the electronic data of the 2020 Class of conscripts has been in progress since last Tuesday. Through this process the conscripts submit their certificates and their preferences and based on all the data submitted a ranking position with a score will be created. Based on that ranking, the conscripts will be positioned in various Army Branches and Units.
