Within the framework of the Tripartite Cooperation Program between Cyprus – Greece – Egypt, “IANOS” War Game Training was held between October 3 – 5, 2022 at the Infantry School in Chalkida. The said training took place with the participation of personnel from the three countries. 

According to an announcement by the National Guard General Staff (GEEF), the training included simulation of unit-level offensive and defensive operations in “IANOS” War Game as well as information on the VBS-3 3D Combat Imaging Simulator. 

In addition to its educational/operational benefits, the participation of the personnel in the above training, along with the implementation of the Tripartite Cooperation Program between Cyprus – Greece – Egypt, underlines the commitment of the three countries to upgrade and strengthen the cooperation and ties between their Armed Forces, contributing to strengthening security and stability in the region.
