From July 10 to August 18, 2023, within the framework of the Bilateral Defence Cooperation Program between the Republic of Cyprus and Austria, 3 students of the Military “THERESEAN ACADEMY” of Austria, visited Cyprus for the first time and participated in training and other activities of the National Guard.
In particular, the Austrian students visited the Commands and Formations of the National Guard, where they were briefed on the capabilities, mission, and assets of the Logistic Corps.
According to a relevant announcement, during their participation in the activity program of the Formations and Commands, there was a constructive exchange of experiences and they carried out tasks on Logistics in collaboration with National Guard personnel.
During their stay in Cyprus, the Austrian students also visited historical monuments and cultural sites in the free areas of the island, where they got to know its culture and history.
