Embraer will provide integrated logistical support services through the Follow-On Support Agreement signed recently for the Hellenic Air Force fleet of one ERJ-135LR and four ERJ-145 AEW&C aircraft.

The contract covers spare parts, repair, maintenance, and technical services for the five Embraer jets currently in service with the Hellenic Air Force.

The contract includes a dedicated parts Pool Program for Embraer’s military customers, in which inventory costs are shared between customers purchasing the service. This is a cost-effective way to assure availability for ERJ-135/145, Legacy 600/650, and the AEW&C operated by defence forces and government customers.

The program has been in operation for more than 15 years and has provided an efficient and effective service that reflects Embraer’s commitment to excellence. Over the years the program has allowed for the availability of high-value resources, support, and component exchange services.

Embraer aircraft are airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) systems capable of supporting the Hellenic Air Force’s air and naval operations.

Since 2004, the Hellenic Air Force has had a total of four (4) aircraft, which belong to the 380 Airborne Early Warning and Control System Squadron.
