Deputy Minister of National Defence N. Hardalias | Attends oath ceremony of new Air Force Academy pilots

The Deputy Minister of National Defence, Nikolaos Hardalias, attended yesterday, Thursday, October 7, 2021, the oath ceremony of the new Air Force Academy fighter jet pilots. The ceremony took place at the Dhekelia Air Base in Tatoi.

The ceremony was attended by the Metropolitan of Ilion, Acharnes and Petroupolis, Mr. Athenagoras, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Air Marshal Georgios Blioumis, the Ambassador of Montenegro to Greece, Ana Vukadinovic, the Embassy Consuls of the Republic of Cyprus in Athens, Ioannis Adamou, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Athens, Ashraf Khasawneh, representatives of the Armed and Security Forces as well as the pilots’ relatives.

A total of 135 pilots graduated, of whom 121 are from Greece, 9 from Cyprus, 2 from Montenegro, 2 from Jordan, and 1 from Tunisia.
