An HK USP pistol bearing the emblem of the Hellenic Police was found in an open space in the old courts of Germasogeia, at 7.30 yesterday afternoon, following relevant information given to the Police.
According to the announcement of the Police, the pistol, which was wrapped in a nylon bag, as well as an empty magazine with six bullets of 9 mm caliber were found near a stake in the old courts of Germasogeia, next to river Amathos.
Both the pistol and the bullets were collected by the Police in order to be sent for forensic examinations with the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department continuing the investigation.
