The first photos of the H145M helicopters expected to be received by the Cyprus National Guard have been published on the Scramble website. The said helicopters will replace the Mi-35s sold to Serbia.
It is recalled that the 11 Russian Mi-35Ps were transferred to Serbia in November 2023. The first H145MEs were seen on March 21 at Ingolstadt-Manching in Germany while performing test flights.
In January 2022, the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus signed a contract with Airbus for the purchase of 6 H145M helicopters with an option to purchase another 6.
