Explosions took place at an ammunition factory in Serbia. This company produces, among other things, missiles, engines and drones. Initial information indicates that the first explosion took place in the missile manufacturing wing.
Early reports speak of at least two dead and 16 injured, all workers. At that time, the factory had more than 100 employees. Authorities have expressed fears of more casualties, with firefighters combating the blaze, while the search and rescue operations continue. The injured suffer severe burns.
Similar incidents have taken place in Serbia, with explosions at an ammunition factory in the town of Sacak back in June.
