According to the official agency Anadolu, the news that Turkish troops are moving to the border with Greece does not correspond to reality.

The same sources state that the movement is a planned activity of troops in Malatya.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, Turkish media reported that the Turkish Armed Forces were transporting tanks to the border with Greece. According to the same information, about 2 convoys of tanks started on Saturday afternoon from the Turkish-Syrian border, transporting 40 tanks with Edirne as their final destination. The tanks, according to the same information, were to be transported from the port of Alexandretta by train to Edirne.

The specific moves of Ankara, however, according to military sources, are more communication tricks aimed at creating a “climate of war” which is a consistent and well known policy of the Erdogan government.
