London plans to send hundreds of troops to Cyprus to support a possible evacuation of British citizens from Lebanon, the BBC reports.
According to the report, around 10,000 UK citizens remain in Lebanon as Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah escalates.
The British government has already asked its citizens not to visit the Middle Eastern country and, if they are already there, to depart.
