A winter swimmer in the Soroni region of Rhodes spotted something shiny in the water, took it to land, and soon after learned that it was a mine from the war in Ukraine.
According to information, it is a mine that reached the Mediterranean from Ukraine, after an explosion at a dam in the country. Experts note that it is possible that other mines have ended up in Mediterranean waters, sounding the alarm.
