The company Swarmly Aero, based in Cyprus, will present the new unmanned surface vessel B5 Hydra at the international exhibition DEFEA held in May in Athens.
According to information published by the Naval News website, the new unmanned surface vehicle (USV), B5 Hydra, can operate in coastal surveillance missions. It can operate at a cruising speed of 65 knots for up to 10 hours featuring a remote control capability.
B5 Hydra technical characteristics:

- Length: 6 m.
- Width: 2.36 m
- Draft: 0.65 m
- Weight: 1.2 tons
- Height above waterline: 2.1 m
- Maximum speed: 85 knots
- Armament: 12.7 mm machine gun, 1 Black Scorpion Torpedo
The B5 Hydra is equipped with a Lionfish 12.7 Ultralight guided turret from Italy’s Leonardo and 1 Black Scorpion torpedo from the same company, while it has an HD EO/IR imaging system from Israel’s NextVision with a remote control capability at a distance of 200 km from the control station. Swarmly Aero’s Poseidon UAV can act as an intermediate connection and communication hub.

Swarmly Aero is active in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles with the H10 Poseidon and the H6 Poseidon. The H10 Poseidon is already operating on the Ukrainian battlefield.
