INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
The answer to the post of Mevlüt Cavusoglu is given by the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, through his post on Twitter.
Mr. Dendias expresses the hope that 2021 will be the year when Turkey will abandon the threats of war against Greece. At the same time, Mr. Dendias hopes that Turkey will become “more European and less Neo-Ottoman, as this is for the benefit of the Turkish people, and to refrain from provocations and illegal actions.”
Finally, the Greek Foreign Minister stressed that his Turkish counterpart forgot to refer to international law in his own post, emphasizing that “it is the only basis for constructive dialogue.”
