Defence Redefined

As part of the National Guard’s familiarization with the marine environment, an exercise was conducted in the KAPPARIS area of ​​Famagusta province with the participation of the 7th Infantry Mechanized Brigade. 

During the ten-day exercise, the staff had the opportunity to be trained in first aid, swimming with full combat load, rowing boats and water barrier crossing. The staff of the other Formations of the National Guard will attend the said naval training in the near future.      

During the exercise, the necessary measures were taken to comply with the provisions of the relevant decrees of the Ministry of Health concerning COVID-19.
