The President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, arrived in Kastellorizo ​to attend the events for the 77th anniversary of the liberation of the island without any “complications” during her flight.

At this time, Mrs. Sakellaropoulou is attending a eulogy at the sanctuary of Agios Konstantinos and Eleni and then she will be declared an Honorary Citizen of Megisti following a decision of the Municipal Council of the island.

The Greek President will then visit a navy ship, located at the port of the island, and will lay a wreath both at the monument to the fallen at the port and at the monument to the lady of Ro located on the homonymous islet.
