Ukrainian military technology cluster, Brave1, has unveiled its latest creation, a kamikaze Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) known as “Ratel S”.

Ratel S serves as a mobile carrier of anti-tank mines or bombs. Its key feature lies in the ability for operators to remotely hit hostile targets from a secure location, ensuring the safety of military personnel.

The system in question features a maximum speed of 24 km per hour and a range of up to 6 km. It can operate continuously for up to 2 hours without requiring charging. Ratel S has successfully completed field trials and is now in serial production, marking a significant advancement in Ukraine’s defence technology capabilities.

The innovation and development of Ratel S are part of the broader efforts of Brave1, a cluster dedicated to advancing military technologies in Ukraine.

Founded jointly by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Security and Defence Council, the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Brave1 is at the forefront of enhancing Ukraine’s military capabilities.

With the introduction of Ratel S, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have gained a versatile tool to remotely engage enemy targets.
