MBDA has reached a major production milestone with the delivery of its 2,000th Mistral 3 air defence missile.

The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded BAE Systems the contract for the maintenance and repair of the L119 guns in Ukraine. The UK has donated the L119s to Ukraine, so under this deal they can be maintained and repaired domestically to return to the battlefield as soon as possible.
The deal was signed in Kyiv during the UK industry’s unprecedentedly large mission in Ukraine. Based on this mission, a delegation of 29 UK businesses traveled to Ukraine to discuss the deepening of the two countries’ defence cooperation with the Kyiv government.
L119 Technical characteristics:
- Caliber: 105 mm
- Length: 6.5 m
- Width: 1.8 m
- Weight: 19 tons
According to a representative of the British company, the Ukrainian Armed Forces operate 17 different BAE Systems, therefore the company wants as many of these systems as possible so they can be repaired domestically.
