Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan will hold joint military exercises from September 12 to 20 in Baku, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry announced today. This is the first exercise of this type jointly held by these three countries.
The purpose of the “Three Brothers – 2021” exercises is to improve the interoperability between their special forces and to exchange knowledge and experience, the ministry added in a statement.
Turkey and Azerbaijan have held joint military exercises in both countries since the beginning of the month. Pakistan’s contribution to military cooperation is particularly important at this transitional stage for the Middle East.
