The Special Parachute Department on the camera of ALPHA NEWS | VIDEO
The breathtaking images from an exercise of the Special Parachuting Department (ETA) were captured by the camera of ALPHA Greece.
The ETA consists only of professional personnel of the Hellenic Army who are distinguished for their hard training. This includes, among other things, a freefall parachute jump from high altitudes such as High Altitude / High Opening (HAHO) and Low Opening (HALO) types.
The main role of the ETA is the Strategic Recognition and the execution of special missions at great depth behind enemy lines.
