The Minister of Interior in Serbia for consultations – Will attend an internal security exercise

Interior Minister Nikos Nouri traveled to Serbia for a two-day working visit, according to a statement.

During his visit, Mr. Nouris will have a private meeting with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vulin, while the two Ministers will attend extended consultations with the participation of official delegations.

Immigration and asylum issues are expected to be discussed during the meeting, while an Agreement will be signed between the two countries regarding their cooperation in the field of disaster protection. After the end of their contacts, the two Ministers will give a press conference. Afterwards, the Minister of Interior will attend an exercise on internal security issues.

During his two-day visit to Belgrade, the Minister of Interior will also meet with the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Marija Obradović, during which issues of local self-government will be discussed and views on good practices will be exchanged.

The Minister will also have meetings with the Mayors of Belgrade Zoran Radojičić and Novi Sad Miloš Vučević, for an exchange of views on issues of applied practices in local government.

The Minister returns from Belgrade on Saturday.
