The Hellenic Force in Cyprus (ELDYK) is rotating troops via flights to and from Athens

At around 10:00, a Cyprus Airways plane took off for Athens, carrying 144 people including soldiers serving in the Hellenic Force of Cyprus (ELDYK).

The return of this flight, from Athens to Larnaca, is chartered exclusively for the transport of 144 ELDYK soldiers to Cyprus who will replace those left. 

It is noted that all the passengers upon arrival go through coronavirus check in a special area at the old airport terminal. Regarding the transport of ELDYK soldiers, a special examination procedure has been set for those who depart as well as for those who enter Cyprus and have to comply with the restriction measures.

In addition, a similar flight for the transport of ELDYK soldiers to and from Cyprus will take place on Thursday April 16.
