On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the annual meeting of the Chiefs of Air Forces (PA) of the European Countries (European Air Chiefs’ Conference, EURAC) was completed, which was held for the first time in Greece.

The main theme of the Synod was “Navigating Air Power through Entropy and Chaos,” indicating today’s changing, unstable, and disorderly geopolitical environment, in which the current PA Leadership of the Synod member states is called upon to plan and act in operations, administration, and support, as well as in the organization, training, and staffing of the Air Forces.

The Summit was attended by the Chief of the General Air Staff (GA), Vice Admiral (I) Demosthenes Grigoriadis, the Commander of Allied Air Command, General James B. Hecker, and the Chiefs of Air Forces of Austria, Belgium, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Estonia, Ireland, Spain, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, and Finland.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the Head of the General Assembly was given the opportunity to hold informal discussions with Heads of Allied States, where issues of mutual operational interest and possibilities for joint training were analyzed.
