The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, visited today, Monday, March 11, 2024, the “Hydra” frigate.

The frigate is at sea in the Gulf of Aden, as part of its participation in the European operation ASPIDES.

The Minister of Defence was accompanied by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Houpis, and the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice-Admiral Dimitrios – Eleftherios Kataras.

Mr. Dendias was briefed by the Commander of the “Hydra” Frigate, Commander Christos Drougas, on its mission.
