North Korea has described South Korea as an enemy state, confirming that its national assembly has amended the Constitution, in line with the country’s leader’s announcement to reject the unification of the Korean Peninsula as a national goal.
North Korea’s KCNA news agency reported that the country’s armed forces blew up parts of the road and rail network on the border with South Korea yesterday as part of legal action against an enemy state as defined by the revised constitution.
Sections of the 60-meter road and rail network on the North Korean side have now been completely destroyed as part of “a total territorial blockade” of North Korea by the South, KCNA reported.
