Turkish President, Tayyip Erdogan, called his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, a burden for France in his statements out of St. Sophia, where he went to pray on Friday, 4 months after it was converted into a mosque.

In a statement after the prayer on Friday, he stated that “Macron is a burden for France. France is going through a very dangerous period. My wish is for France to get rid of the Macron trouble, otherwise it will not get rid of the yellow vests. Yellow vests can then be turned into red vests. They are facing such problems,” said the Turkish president.

He also said that the Azerbaijani counterpart told the French “if you love the Armenians so much then give them Marseille. And I am putting forward the same. Karabakh is the territory of our brothers in Azerbaijan.”
