Once again, the Israeli army (IDF) airstruck Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip this morning after rockets and incendiary balloons were fired from the Palestinian enclave into southern Israel, which has been partially blocked by security forces.
The Israeli air force bombed Gaza shortly after midnight on Thursday and then again early this morning in response to the firing of seven rockets from the Palestinian enclave, nine (9) of which were intercepted by the Israeli anti-RPG system, Iron Dome.

According to eyewitnesses in Gaza, the rockets were mainly aimed at the city of Sderot, located at the northern exit of the Gaza Strip.

Due to the frequent rocket fire from the Palestinian enclave for the past two weeks, the Israeli authorities have restricted access to cities such as Sderot, which are located around Gaza.
