Clashes broke out on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at the Pournara immigrant reception center, resulting in the injury of 35 people.
The clashes broke out amid theft between groups of immigrants from Congo and Nigeria, with more than 300 people involved in the riots overnight.
The injured were taken to hospital for treatment, while some of them suffered stabs. Stones were thrown amongst them and disasters were made before that.
Strong police forces and members of the Emergency Response Unit rushed to the area to restore order, while it was deemed necessary to remove the Center personnel.
The Center accommodates about 2,500 people.
