The following events will take place in Athens on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, for the celebration of the Hellenic Armed Forces Day and the Presentation of Mary (Patroness of the Hellenic Armed Forces):

• 08:00 – Flag raising ceremony in Acropolis
• 10:30 – official Doxology in the Cathedral of Athens officiated by His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Ieronymos II, in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mrs. Katerina Sakellaropoulou
• 11:30 – wreath-laying by the President of the Hellenic Republic at the Unknown Soldier Monument
• 17:00 – Flag lowering in Acropolis

Also, at 7:30 in the evening of Tuesday, November 21, 2023, a festive event will be held at the Concert Hall, which will be broadcast online by Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall on www.geetha.mil.gr at https://geetha.mil.gr/category/drastiriotites/.

In addition, the following events will take place in Attica:

• 3D Projection of the Greek Flag on the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) headquarters during the night hours of November 20 & 21, 2023
• Exhibition presenting the activities of the Hellenic Armed Forces in the multi-use area of ​​the “Syntagma” metro station on November 21-24, 2023, with interactive exhibits of a flight simulator, weapon systems, detection of explosive devices with the use of virtual reality (VR) equipment
• Organization of an action called “GET TO KNOW SPORTS AND ITS VALUES” at the Panathinaikos Stadium on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

The following events will also take place throughout the territory:

• National Flag Decoration of the Units, Military Stores, and Warships from 08:00 until sunset
• Lighting of Units, Military Stores, and Warships during evening hours
• Organization of anniversary – music events at the Hellenic Tactical Air Force Headquarters of the 3rd & 4th Army Corps.
