An unexpected development took place in Haidari and specifically at the Infantry Heavy Weapons Training Center of the Hellenic Army.
According to reports, on Sunday afternoon a 24-year-old Lithuanian was found in the fenced area of the camp in Haidari and was arrested by police officers of the Haidari Security Department.
The 24-year-old was noticed by soldiers who were on duty. Having illegally entered the military camp area, there was a commotion, the young man was immobilized and then handed over to the police, who were called to the scene.
A case file was filed against the Lithuanian by the Police for violation of the law on fortification measures.
The investigation continues in order to establish the circumstances under which the young man entered the camp.
