Greece – Israel | Historic agreement – Establishment of a HAF flight center and acquisition of 10 M-346 aircraft

The Israeli Ministry of Defence talks about the largest defence agreement between Israel and Greece in a post on Twitter.

The post points out that after an international tender, the Greek government approved Israel’s proposal to submit bids for the establishment of a Flight Center for the Hellenic Air Force, which will be built and operated by the Israeli company, Elbit Systems Ltd.

The agreement, which will be signed by both Ministries of Defence, also includes the supply of ten M-346 training aircraft and the maintenance of T-6 aircraft as well as the provision of simulators, training and logistic support.

Israeli Defence Minister, Beni Gandhi, said: “This agreement reflects the exceptional and developing relationships we have with Greece. It is a long-term partnership that will serve the interests of both countries.”
