The agreement for the delimitation of an exclusive economic zone (EEZ) has been signed between Greece and Egypt.
The agreement was signed by Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, who urgently flew to Cairo, and his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Soukri. As the representative of the Egyptian Foreign Minister states in a post on Twitter:
“Part of the signing ceremony of an agreement for the delimitation of an exclusive economic zone between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Greece”. The representative also posted relevant photos.
Greece and Egypt signed an agreement on sharing maritime jurisdictions (EEZ).
