The Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets that Paris expects to give to Ukraine will be delivered in the first quarter of 2025, after the aircraft are modified and Ukrainian pilots and engineers are trained to use them, French Defence Minister Sebastien Lecorny announced today.

The number of aircraft in service with the French Air Force has not been specified.

Mirage 2000-5, which will fly in Ukrainian colors, must first acquire “new equipment,” the minister said on X.
