Footage of the attack on the Turkish occupation forces has been released by the “Afrin Liberation Forces” (HRE), on their official account, in which they claim to have launched several missiles against Turkish forces and their mercenaries.
The Kurdish organization claims that five (5) Turkish soldiers and mercenaries have been killed in the attack in the village of Gobele in the Sherawa district.
However, the Turkish Ministry of Defence announced that two (2) Turkish soldiers were killed in a Kurdish attack in Operation Olive Branch in northwestern Syria.
“Two of our heroes were killed in an attack by members of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in Operation Olive Branch,” the Turkish ministry said in a statement, adding that at least three terrorists had been killed. “The attacks against the terrorist positions in the region continue,” the ministry said in a statement.
