EOKA | When Playmobils Tell the Story
Defence Redefined
22/03/2025

Representations of historical events from Greek history, EOKA, Ancient Rome, the Wild West, as well as scenes from favorite films, came to life at the 7th exhibition of Hellas Playmobil Customizers on 14-16 March at the “Manos Loizos” Cultural Center in Nikaia, Greece.

Particularly impressive were the creations of Charalambos Pisias, who brought to life moments from the National Liberation Struggle of Cyprus (1955–1959) through Playmobil figures.

Notably, the exhibition featured scenes from the battles at the Pancyprian High School, the sacrifice of Kyriakos Matsis, and the ascent of Evagoras Pallikaridis to freedom alongside his classmates. Additionally, figures of various EOKA fighters and Chief Grivas Digenis were included.
