Eighteen heroic figures of Famagusta are “revived” thanks to the power of technology – VIDEO
The news website, Famagusta News, “revived” eighteen heroic figures of Famagusta province, using the power of technology.
In the following video, which was made with all due respect to the memory of the heroic and important figures originating from the province of Famagusta – as a kind of memorial – you will see the photos of Vassilis Michailidis, Fotis Pittas, Grigoris Afxentiou, Andreas Karyos, Georgios Karyos, Modesos Markou, Christos Samara, Loukia Laoutari Papageorgiou, Elias Papakyriakou, Antonis Papadopoulos, Petrakis Giallouros, Dimitrakis Christodoulou, Loukas Louka, Panagiotis Zacharia, Panagiotis Kaspi, Tassos Isakl and Solomos Solomou coming to life.
It is pointed out that these are only eighteen of the total heroes of the modern history of the province of Famagusta. The list of those who fell heroically, at least from the liberation struggle of the National Organisation of Cypriot Fighters (EOKA), include Giasoumis Chatzitheodosiou, Panagiotis Toumazou, Stavros Stylianides, Anastasios Souroullas, Kallis Sakka, Andreas Paraskeva, Christofis Panagidis, Charalambos Michail, Costas Loizou, Michail Koukkis, Patroklos Kokkinos, Nikos Karantonis, Michail Kaili (Sialos), Savvas Zanou, Andreas Epifaniou, Ioannis Giannis Stylianou, Geilos Georgiou Iona, Michail Georgallas and Demetrakis Anastasi.
