A meeting was held yesterday morning at the Police Headquarters between the Chief of Police, Mr. Stelios Papatheodoros, with the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Mr. Kyriakos Kokkinos, in order to discuss the cooperation between the Police and the Deputy Ministry.
During the meeting, the preparation of a strategic plan was also discussed, in terms of the digitalization of many procedures carried out so far by the Police conventionally, so that it can meet the needs of modern society and facilitate the citizens, whom the Police are in constant contact with.
The whole effort will be made along with the other actions carried out in order to reorganize the Cyprus Police and in the framework of the proposals submitted to the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability of Cyprus.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Police, Mr. Christos Mavris, other Police executives and the Department of Information Technology Services of the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy.
At the end of the meeting, the Chief of Police honored and thanked the Deputy Minister and his team, giving them symbolic gifts.
