Denmark extends temporary security measures on its border with Germany for another six months.

Copenhagen is on alert and its goal is to reduce in all possible ways the chances of a terrorist attack in the country.

Denmark was one of the first countries in early 2016 to decide to increase border controls following the outbreak of the refugee crisis.

In recent months, there have been several incidents causing a headache for the government, such as the burning of the Koran by far-right groups or the clashes between immigrants in refugee districts on the occasion of the war in Gaza.
