Cyprus – Greece – USA joint exercise with live fire and amphibious operations – Photos

The 2nd joint exercise between Greece, Cyprus and US Special Operations Forces that focused on Naval Special Operations took place from March 16-24 in the wider sea area of ​​Souda in Crete.

The joint exercise of the special forces is part of the cooperation of the three countries and was coordinated by the Joint Special Operations Command of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

The personnel had the opportunity to be trained in rapid reaction combat fire at static targets during day and night, in amphibious operations near shore and in Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS) with practical training on “PSARA” frigate and the”ARIS” training ship of the Hellenic Navy.

During the joint training of the special forces of Cyprus, Greece and the USA, the excellent training, the high level of professionalism and the excellent level of cooperation between the three countries in the design and execution of operations to deal with modern threats were confirmed.
