The Cypriot company eBOS Technologies Ltd, a pioneer in research and a leader in participation in European-funded R&D Programs, is organising a collaborative event between the European defence project HERMES and the Cypriot Defence Ecosystem at the Hilton Hotel, Nicosia, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
The HERMES project (Data Exchange Platform for the Cyber Defence of Autonomous Military Systems) is funded under the European Defence Industrial Development Program (EDIDP); it lasts 33 months and is expected to be completed by August 2024. The project’s coordinator is eBOS. The concept of the project concerns the design of a secure “Data Exchange Platform” addressing various challenges related to the automation and secure exchange of information between security and defence systems, such as between Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and other autonomous military systems.
During the event, eBOS will present the HERMES project and its key outcomes. In addition, other Cypriot entities will present other defence-related projects funded under EDIDP and the European Defence Fund (EDF) programs, showcasing a broader picture of the Cypriot Defence Ecosystem.
Distinctive representatives from the European Commission, the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus, Military Associations, the Cyprus Police, and the Cyprus Association of Research and Innovation Enterprises (CARIE) will also attend the event.
This event presents a unique opportunity for all parties involved to stay abreast of the latest advancements in defence technology and innovation, establish new connections, and explore new potential collaborations in the field.
