The Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced changes in the alternative dates for the sports test and written examination of candidate reserve officers as well as for the sports test of Special Forces candidates (Special Forces, Military Police, Underwater Demolition Team), who have tested positive to Covid-19 or reported as close contacts on the day of the proceedings.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Defence, the sports test for the reserve officers and Special Forces candidates will take place after their classification on July 27, 2021.

It added that the written examination of those reserve officers who succeed in the sports test will take place on July 28, 2021, while the results will have been announced by July 30, 2021.

The MoD clarifies that the above alternative dates concern only the candidates who tested positive to Covid-19 or were reported as close contacts of positive cases during the initial days of the proceedings.

It also added that the authenticity of necessary certificates confirming their justified absence from the tests will be checked by the Ministry of Health.

Finally, the MoD states that more information regarding the selection procedures concerning the venue as well as the transfer to the examination centers will be given by the Commands of their Placement Units.
