Rheinmetall will receive over €130 million in funding from the European Union to increase ammunition production.
Britain may be supplying Ukraine with Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) for the first time to help Kiev fight Russian forces, Sky News reported, citing unnamed sources.
Discussions are underway to deliver the British Army’s Challenger 2 MBTs to Ukraine, British news television reported, citing a Western source with information about the talks.
Providing Kiev with tanks would be a major boost in Western support for Ukraine, but the British government has yet to make a final decision on the matter, according to Sky News. The British news television network cited an unnamed source who reported that London might offer about 10 Challenger 2 MBTs.
