At least 1,750 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip against Israeli cities in the last four days, the Israeli army posted on Twitter, clarifying that in these attacks 7 Israelis were killed and 523 wounded.
“In response (to the attacks)”, the Israeli armed forces “hit more than 650 terrorist positions in Gaza, including rocket launcher positions and ten underground facilities used for attacks”, while “they killed more than 100 Hamas and (Palestinian) Islamic Jihad fighters,” the statement added.
The Gaza Ministry of Health said earlier that at least 109 Palestinians had been killed and another 620 wounded in Israeli airstrikes.
