The first delivery of medical supplies using drones by ALTUS LSA took place at noon on Tuesday, September 21 in Trikala.
The Municipality of Trikala and e-trikala SA proceeded to implement the innovative service in collaboration with ALTUS LSA, which in the future will be able to offer exceptional benefits to the citizens of the area. This delivery was made using the Atlas-4 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
ATLAS 4 features
- Can fly up to 3,000 meters (approximately 9,000 feet)
- Autonomy of about 45 minutes
- Temperature & humidity control system supplied by the Greek company Ham Systems
